Key Aspects of the B.Pharm Program:
Duration and Structure:
- The B.Pharm course generally spans four years.
- It is divided into eight semesters, with each semester focusing on different aspects of pharmacy education and practice.
Curriculum:
- First Year: Introduction to basic subjects such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacognosy. The focus is on the fundamentals of drug formulation, chemistry, and natural sources of drugs.
- Second Year: More advanced topics including Physical Pharmacy, Biochemistry, and Microbiology. This year delves into the physical properties of drugs, biochemical processes, and microbial aspects affecting pharmacy.
- Third Year: Subjects like Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Analysis. Students learn about drug actions, interactions, and techniques for analyzing drug quality.
- Fourth Year: Includes Industrial Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Management. The focus is on drug manufacturing processes, clinical practice, and the business aspects of pharmacy.
Practical Training
The B.Pharm program emphasizes practical experience through laboratory work and internships. Students gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical laboratories, manufacturing units, and clinical settings.
Eligibility:
- Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with a background in science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics).
- Admission is typically based on entrance exams, namely, MHCET and/or NEET

Training & Placement Cell:
Training and Placement Cell is one of the most important department within the institute, which has a big impact on the careers of the students.
Under the guidance of an energetic and experienced placement officer Prof. Dr. Santsoh Shep (additional charge), our placement activities are deigned to achieve great height by forming relations with the industry and existing student base.
Training and Placement Cell aims to synergize the requirement of the recruiters and the aspirations of the students. Thus, acts as a bridge between Industry and the Academia.
